In general: I have read other threads in this section regarding this common issue but have been left alone with: "...see if something looks 'not right'." I am not involved very deeply in all this scripting stuff, WMI in detail, programming, etc. Here is a definition of my 'not right' and what has helped me to solve my problem. Maybe there are others like me, who just want to get this very fine Hyena Tool working without having studied Informatics. The source of my Problem: Those settings prevented Hyena to connect to the remote "WMI-sites". Solving part: Someone in an other thread mentioned 'dcomcnfg'. Now Windows 2k opens the DCOM-settings-dialogue. There I had to: Those settings are working fine when trying to connect from Win2k to WinXP and Win2k. This information helped me to find the right settings: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wmisdk/wmi/connecting_between_different_operating_systems.asp
